1. About Autrace
Autrace is operated by NONSTOP SERVICE LTD, company number 12271149, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 565 Green Lanes, London N8 0RL, United Kingdom.
The checkout page shows the total amount payable. Prices include any applicable VAT.
2. Information, not a guarantee
Reports are snapshots of records returned by government and licensed third-party data services at the time of the request. They are not guarantees of condition, identity, ownership, legal title, mileage or future reliability. You must inspect the vehicle, match the VIN to the V5C, verify the seller and obtain professional advice where appropriate.
3. Free checks
Free checks may include DVLA vehicle details and DVSA MOT records. Availability depends on the source services. Autrace may limit excessive or automated requests to protect those services and keep the website available.
4. Single paid reports
The price shown before checkout is a one-time charge. Autrace does not create a subscription or automatic top-up. When you expressly request immediate generation, the licensed data request begins after payment confirmation and external data costs may be incurred immediately.
Where the law permits, your cancellation right for completed digital content may be affected once supply begins after your express consent and acknowledgement. This does not affect statutory rights where digital content is faulty, not as described or cannot be supplied.
5. Credit packs
Credit packs are one-time purchases of 3 or 10 report credits. They do not renew automatically. Unused credits do not currently expire. The browser access cookie lasts up to six months, but the private wallet code can restore access on another device.
Each redemption uses one credit and starts immediate report generation only after you confirm. If Autrace cannot complete the licensed provider call, the reserved credit is returned automatically. A successfully generated report consumes the credit.
6. Wallet and report security
Wallet codes and private report links act as access keys. Anyone who receives one may be able to use the wallet or view the report. Keep them private. Autrace is not responsible for access caused by a customer intentionally sharing an access key or failing to protect it.
Customer access to a completed report is normally available for up to 365 days. Save or print the report during that period. Active wallets with unused credits remain available through their private wallet code.
7. Failed fulfilment, retries and refunds
If a single-report payment succeeds but the licensed provider cannot complete the report, the order is placed into an operations review queue. Autrace does not repeatedly call a live paid provider automatically. An authorised operator may retry once after reviewing the error, or issue a full Stripe refund.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank processing times are outside Autrace’s control. Credit-funded reports do not create a Stripe refund; the reserved credit is returned automatically when report generation fails.
Support requests are normally reviewed within 5 working days. Include the checkout email and registration, but never send full card details.
8. Acceptable use
You must use Autrace lawfully. You must not bypass access controls, automate excessive requests, test stolen wallet codes, interfere with the service, resell reports without written permission or use vehicle data to harass or unlawfully profile another person.
9. Contact
Questions, fault reports and cancellation requests can be sent to support@autrace.co.uk. Include the checkout email and vehicle registration, but never send card details.
